The Galaxy S21 series debuted with One UI 3.1, an updated version of Samsung’s software shell that contained several new features such as Google Home controls in the notification bar. Shortly after the S21 began shipping, Samsung started updating older devices with the One 3.1.
While some features will remain exclusive to the S21, this is still a significant update, especially for devices that have been updated straight from One UI 2.5. The Tab S6 Lite also received an update to Android 11, but so far this tablet has only received One UI 3.0. One UI 3.1 currently runs on the following devices:
