Last year, the Galaxy S8 stopped receiving monthly security updates, and from now on, they will only receive them quarterly. The S8 Active still receives quarterly updates, and the S8 Lite will continue to receive them twice a year for a little longer as they were released later than the regular models.

These phones are also often available at a discounted price, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get an upgrade deal.
First of all, the S21 will be easier to live with for four years than the S8. Select Galaxy devices from 2019 now have a four-year warranty. normal security updates that make them better durable phones.
